Another way to keep on track was to compile a memory book for our family. The idea was to capture pictures and stories in one place so the younger generation would be able to know their grandparents and great-grandparents better. I gathered up things that we’d said or written about mom and dad along with family pictures and created a book on Blurb.com. It turned out well and provided me with a much needed channel for my grief processing. Somehow, turning my sadness into something tangible that we could hold and share helped. You can see the result here.
A treasure Erin. Front and center always on my coffee table. It bursts open with regularity. Thanks for putting grief into action and creating a family history book! You amaze me girl. George
